Trade and Development in Pakistan: The Role of Corruption

Sandeep Kumar

This project involved qualitative research supplemented by secondary data centered around trade and human development in Pakistan. The goal was to test if the trade openness to development relationship holds true in the Pakistani context. Upon finding that it doesn't as observed in the data trends, corruption in trade and human development projects was explored as a potential explanatory factor behind the observed distortion. Literature review, methodology and the results for this project were compiled in a formal paper.
